Man City boss Guardiola: West Ham will be ready to beat us

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola expects a battle against West Ham.

City meet West Ham in the season finale leading the Premier League table by two points.

Guardiola said: "I'm ready for it to be a tough game. I'll put in the mind of the players, 'look at Tottenham [on Tuesday]'.

"[West Ham] will be ready to beat us. It was the same with Aston Villa two years ago.

"Our people have to be here and be ready, to be with us from the start and do it together."

On Tuesday's win at Tottenham, he added: "There was relief, they were 'wow', but they were not celebrating extra. They were happy but it was no more special than any other game in the Premier League. They were 'OK, this gives us a chance in the last game'. We have a lot of work to do, I will make sure [the players] feel it."
