Juventus & Italy Legend Praises Inter Milan: 'Undoubtedly The Strongest In Serie A, They Can Start A Winning Cycle'

Legendary Italian defender Giorgio Chiellini tips Inter Milan to kickstart a new winning dynasty and dominate Serie A for years to come.

The Nerazzurri won the Scudetto title by a landslide with five rounds to spare. The likes of AC Milan, Juventus and Napoli have been no match for Simone Inzaghi’s men this term.

Inter even celebrated their coveted second star by beating their crosstown rivals in Derby della Madonnina, thus adding insult to injury.

While the Serie A title has constantly changed hands over the past five years, Chiellini feels the Nerazzurri have what it takes to restore some order.

The 39-year-old heaps praise on Inzaghi’s team, considering it the strongest in the country by far.

“I think that Inter are the strongest team in Serie A, without a doubt,” said the former Juventus and Italy captain in his interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport via FcInter1908.

“Therefore, the Nerazzurri’s triumph was Logical to me.”

The recently-retired defender also believes Inter can open a new winning cycle.

“I believe they can open a winning cycle in the next two years. It will be tough for everyone also because Milan and Napoli, from what I read, will almost certainly change coaches.

“in six months, almost all the managers have changed or will change. which is a curious stat. And the first year with a new coach is often complicated,” concluded Chiellini.
